Pacific Northwest College of Art Library

In 1998, PNCA relocated from its former location at the Portland Art Museum to its current location on NW Johnson. It quickly became obvious that the school would need its own library, separate from the shared Rex Arragon Library at the Portland Art Museum.

Robert Craddick and the Board of Governors took on the task of creating a library out. The senior painting studios in PNCA’s main building were relocated to a new building, and in fall of 2001, the current library was born.

You can find the library by looking for the red neon “Library” sign, high up on the second floor of the main building.
